By accessing or using the Bylaw platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including individual users, business accounts, and enterprise customers.

2. Service Description

Bylaw is a cloud-based HR compliance and document management platform designed for businesses operating in Qatar and the GCC region. The Service provides tools for generating professional documents, managing HR calculations based on Qatar Labor Law, accessing regulatory information, and managing company branding for official documents. Features may vary depending on your subscription plan.

3. User Accounts

You must register for an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Bylaw reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription and Payments

Bylaw offers multiple subscription tiers including Free Trial, Essential, Enhanced, and Enterprise plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected during sign-up. All prices are displayed in Qatari Riyals (QAR) unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable fees. Subscription renewals are automatic unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and document templates, is the intellectual property of Bylaw and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without prior written consent.

6. User Content and Documents

You retain ownership of all documents and data you create using the Service. By using Bylaw, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not access, share, or sell your documents to third parties. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you create complies with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Limitation of Liability

Bylaw provides document templates, HR calculations, and regulatory information for reference purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, the Service does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. Bylaw shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. You should always verify calculations and legal references with qualified professionals.

8. Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. All data is stored securely using encryption at rest and in transit. For details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. Bylaw reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access immediately if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, though we will retain your data for 30 days to allow for export.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

11. Changes to Terms

Bylaw reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
